Ever wonder why your salary feels lighter than it should? Well, if you're earning under ₹5 lakhs per year, you're not alone. The government requires companies to deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) before paying you. But here’s the catch: if your total income for the year is below ₹5 lakhs, you don’t owe any tax. Gaana Subscription Cancel

  Today, I woke up and saw a strange message from Gaana. "If you don't pay, you will face penalty charges". If you are stuck like me :p, I have successfully stopped the subscription. The steps may help you too to get out of this situation. Update: Gaana app tried to make payment again, There was no call center available so I mailed them on  feedback@gaana.com  requesting to stop payment, they responded pretty fast and told me they have closed the auto payment. So you also have to contact them to stop the autopay. Long Story Short - I purchased a small 10 rupee plan, made the payment, and then the auto-renewal turn-off option was visible. Using that I stopped renewal. If need more clear info, keep reading :) it's a short one.  Why do I have to pay charges???
